Ask the Experts Online Jam!
The TUC offers IBM Business Partners a unique opportunity to establish their expertise within the TUC and generate leads for only $3,000.
The Ask the Experts Online Jam event turns the tables around and the leads come to you as community members contact your company's experts over a period of 4 hours for assistance and education on a range of topics you select around Tivoli products and technologies.
This cost effective on-line session now provides an innovative approach for:
- Reaching a highly targeted audience of influencers and decision makers
- Showcasing deep subject matter expertise
- Connecting with community members on 1:1 basis
- Originating compelling web content from the online dialogs that's archived on TUC, accessed often and tied to your brand
- Helping your sales teams advance leads with your own prospects and up-sell customer targets
- Generating leads!
How does Ask the Experts Online Jam work?
The service is available to ISVs, Solution Providers, Consultants, or any other IBM business partner with deep subject matter expertise. The partner's individual experts are available to the community to answer questions for a scheduled period of 4 hours. All participants are registered for the event which makes it easy to capture potential leads with the participant's question, organization and title.
Step 1: Participants direct their questions, usually fairly technical, to an expert(s) using the "Ask the Expert" interface on the community website. Participants can select an expert by browsing your company's list of experts by pre-defined category.
Step 2: The expert responds online, answering the question which updates the Ask The Expert page for others to see. Experts can defer to other experts who may be better suited to answer a specific question
Step 3: Participants receive an answer to their questions and your company receives the lead.
The total Ask the Expert Online Jam service includes :
- Delivery of 4 hour online jam session
- All promotional activities
- Training sessions for your experts prior to the call
- Content archiving for x months after the event
- Lead forwarding

Newsletter sponsorship

Local User Group sponsorship
The Global Tivoli User Community has approximately one hundred user groups located worldwide that provide direct access to technical users. Sponsorships are available for local user group web pages hosted on the community site and can be tailored to fit your needs. User group members regularly access these pages for information on upcoming meetings.
Local user group sponsorship includes:
- Sponsorship info and logo placed on web page for targeted user group pages, local groups up to all group worldwide.
- Localized partner news can be posted and updated with self-service approach
- $500/user group per year for up to 3 user groups; $300/user group for 4 or more UGs

Combine a Community Webcast followed by a Live Ask the Experts Online Jam (ATE) for only $5000 (a savings of $1000). A community webcast to the TUC membership prior to an ATE event is often recommended, to create buzz and a demand for more specific information. This is a simple and easy way to connect to potential leads in real time.
IBM Business Partners can reach multiple IBM SWG communities including WebSphere, Rational and Tivoli for special discounted pricing. We offer a 10% discount for sponsorship offerings targeting two communities and 15% for sponsorships that target three communities.
We offer private Ask the Expert Online Jam sessions that allow you to brand the event. (Email a.oliver@groupintelligence.com for pricing). Group Intelligence Inc. can also deliver this online event to your own customer / prospect base as a private service, from your own web site.

Only IBM business partners meeting the following criteria may participate as sponsors:
- BP products can compliment/enhance the products
- must be an IBM Business Partner
- Are my competitors allowed to sponsor the community?
This business partner engagement program is offered to all Tivoli/IBM business partners.
- How can I track the effectiveness of my sponsorship?
Yes, you are given a quarterly report on the number of clickthroughs from our site to yours.
