Members Talk (MT) Initiative
In 2010 the TUC launched a new initiative called "Members Talk" (MT). The purpose of this initiative is to increase peer to peer knowledge transfer opportunities at user group meetings by adding YOU the user group members to each meeting agenda.

We know that your valuable lessons learned, helpful techniques, best practices and hints and tips have greatly benefited your organizations and we hope that you would be willing to share some of that knowledge with your fellow user group members.

We are inviting all of you to take an active role in your user group's upcoming meetings by becoming a Members Talk presenter in one of these 3 ways:

  • A Members Talk Presentation (20 mins with 10 min Q&A) - This is your traditional lecture that includes a PowerPoint. Click here to download the easy to use "Members Talk" PowerPoint template to create your presentation.
  • Participation as a Members Talk Panelist (30 mins) - Be one of two or more members to be a panelist. A moderator will lead the discussion and ask the panel questions around your best practices, hint and tips, and real world experiences.
  • Volunteer to sit for a Members Talk Tivoli Interview (20 mins with 10 min Q&A) - Be interviewed about your experiences at the meeting and allow for others to ask questions about your experiences. If you are interested in participating in the "Members Talk" initiative please send an email to your user group leader indicating how you would like to participate from the choices provided above.
