SUCCESS! Global Tivoli User Group (GTUG)
council meeting held at Pulse 2010Author: David Murray, President of the Carolinas TUG and member of the Global Tivoli User Group council The Global Tivoli User Group Council (GTUG)
held it's annual face to face meeting on
February 24th through the 26th following this
year's Pulse 2010 conference. I am pleased to
announce that this year's meeting was very
well attended with 18 GTUG members present
representing countries from all around the
world. Besides the great accommodations at
the MGM Grand and the delicious food provided
to us by IBM, I am pleased to say that they
hit a unanimous "home run" with the unique
education experience they arranged by
bringing together a diverse group of IBM
presenters. We had the opportunity to share
our opinions and suggestions on the Pulse
conference, learn and dig deeper into many of
Tivoli's future offerings, and were given an
overview of the 2010 Tivoli strategy and
development. As always, we had a lively
interaction between the GTUG council and the
IBM representatives which resulted in the
exchange of great ideas that lead us to
determine some key
product enhancements and direction. Read more here.
