Subject: ACTION NEEDED: Get Ready to
Networking with Your TUC peers!

This past August, we announced a series of
new initiatives being implemented within the
user community including a member
profiling tool which allows you to more
easily connect with your peers across the
community.
Today we're taking a big step towards this
goal by inviting you to update your
registration information and more. The
information you update will be used to build
member profiles that enable community
networking. Members that opt-in to this
service will be able to search for and
connect with other TUC members based on
criteria including Tivoli product class,
industry and interest area.
1st Step - Login and create a user name
To get started, log-in to the community using
your email address and password. Click on
the button "Update profile now" and follow
the instructions to create a community user
name. This will allow you to participate in
profile sharing, member communication, forums
and other future community networking
capabilities.
2nd Step - Update your profile
The left navigation bar, "Your Profile",
lists options to provide additional details
about your professional role, technical areas
of interest, experience and links to your
social networks. Click on each category to
fully update your profile and to make sure
you select the appropriate opt-ins in
preferences to let others identify you.

your registration.
These first steps of updating your
registration will enable the community for
collaboration. In early November we'll
launch the member networking capability with
a new user interface enabling members to
search for others based on their public
profiles. Just to let you know, communication
between members will use a private messaging
service within the community and your contact
information will remain private.
