Group Detail: The primary intention of this group is Maximo (all versions). We will offer physical meetings on a quarterly basis, Webex meetings as necessary, white papers, conference calls, best practice sharing, etc.
Announcement: Indianapolis and the surrounding areas are full of Maximo systems and experts. It is our intention to bring these talented people and processes together beginning in the Spring of 2009 and meeting approximately 3 times a year, plus the yearly PULSE.

Summary: IMUG Members and Attendees:
We are excited about the inaugural meeting planned for September 16th at Eli Lilly in Indianapolis, IN. This meeting has been a long time coming and I believe the response to the event has solidified the need for this type of user network in the region. The major initiative of this first meeting will be to establish who we are as a user group and the needs of this Maximo region. We are not formalized in any way, shape, or form, so we must focus on this to effectively address the needs of each and every user. For those of you that understand how a ‘great’ user group can benefit the members, you must also understand how a user group can fail. We aspire to be a GREAT user group driven by the users and maintained by the need to learn and achieve more…

At the above address, there is visitor parking available. You will need to tell the parking attendant that you are visiting all day for the IMUG meeting and that Randy Martin is the meeting sponsor from Eli Lilly. You may be re-directed across the street to additional visitor parking once that garage is full.

Where to go:
We will have people in the lobby of the Eli Lilly Corporate Center escorting attendees to the meeting room after they are finished with their security check-in. The security check-in is not a lengthy process, but we recommend you arrive early since there will be a number of attendees coming through.
Notes:
To ensure a quick pass through security, try not to overload yourself with technology and baggage. It’s very much like going through security at the airport, so pack appropriately and bring a photo ID.
