Agenda:
The agenda for this meeting is as follows: Sizing, Tuning and Use of the Recovery Log and DB in Tivoli Storage Manager V6. With the introduction of TSM V6, the product now uses DB2 as its database. This session will discuss how the new recovery log works with V6, how to size it appropriately, and considerations for performance of the database and recovery log. In addition, there have been several maintenance updates with V6 on the use of the log. This session will cover those enhancements as well as possible future considerations for the DB and Log. This session is appropriate for TSM administrators, managers, architects or others involved in the planning and/or operation of a TSM complex. Enrollment is not necessary.
