User Groups are typically independently run, volunteer groups that meet in person on a regular basis to discuss and share information on a variety of technical and business topics.

How does it work?
Each User Group is managed by a core team consisting of 2 to 3 leaders.
Leaders plan and execute monthly LUG meetings, coordinate with IBM, moderate membership and maintain regular communication of useful information with members
IBM support in terms of Lotus resources like providing technical speakers, evaluation software, White papers/case-studies, Certification offerings and marketing support
