Online Jams

SAVE THE DATE November 12th, 2009 for the next TUC Ask the Experts Online Jam!

ATEAsk the Expert online Jam session
A special thank you to the 50+ IBM experts who were available during our June 11th Ask the Experts Online Jam session and answered over 200 questions from our members! Check out the archive list of Q&A.

What is the “Ask the Experts online Jam”?
The “Ask the Experts online Jam” is a valuable opportunity for the Global Tivoli User Community (TUC) Members to connect with real world experts on a range of Tivoli products.  These experts, many from IBM development, are recruited to answer member questions for a concentrated period of 12 hours.

During our Ask the Experts Online Jam session we included products like: ITM, ITCAM, SMCz, OMEGAMON, NetView for z/OS, most Netcool products, Tivoli Service Request Mgr, CCMDB, TADDM, Security products, Storage management products, Asset Management products and so much more!

Here's how it works in brief:

    Step 1: A member has a question – usually fairly technical;
    Step 2: The member will find the expert that is best suited to answer the question by browsing for an expert by pre-defined category and product specific;
    Step 3: The member fills in a field on the “Ask the Experts online Jam” web application to submit the question.
    Step 4: The member receives an email answer to his/her questions and the Ask the Expert JAM web application is updated for other members to see.

To participate in this online jam session you must be a registered member of the TUC. Please register now!

Please check back here soon for more detailed information on the topics and experts for our next online jam on November 12th, 2009.
